She months in a village in Bhutan to find out about the life and work of a special kind of rit which are called pawo and neyjorma. Ritual specialists can be found in most societies of the Tibetan Cultural Area. Those expe for all kinds of problems: Illness, loss, theft or when general advice is needed. Pawo and neyjorma mainly act as oracles providing services like annual protective rituals and villages as well as diagnosing illnesses and curing them by finding out which kind of to be done.
